A quick video tutorial showing the best way to remove the leash from a photo of a dog who has been photographed with the lead on, using the Patch Tool, Clone Stamp Tool and Spot Healing Brush Tool in Adobe Photoshop CS6.

I often find it's a good idea to leave the leash on when photographing dogs, to allow more control and also to allow the shoot to take place in photogenic locations that might now allow off-lead dogs. Leaving the lead in the shot can be detrimental to the overall look of the shot though, so it's good practice to remove it in post-processing.
